Projects

I was the main editor for all of these films, but also acted and shot footage.

This is a commercial I made with two other meadowbrook students at the Student Television Network convention last March. We scripted, recorded, and edited within 6 hours and took home a third place award.

This is another film made at the STN convention, this one created in 8 hours in a contest called Crazy 8s. It was incredibly stressful as I was one of two editing the film and the deadline was approaching, but we managed to submit it on time.

This film was made to practice for the Crazy 8s and was submitted to the STN Spring Nationals. Acting isn’t my favorite, but my team for this project didn’t have many people with acting experience, so I stepped up.

I made this for the STN Fall challenge with two other students, although I did the bulk of the editing. We got the prompt “Small acts of kindness make a big difference,” on Wednesday and had to brainstorm, shoot, edit, and submit over the course of the weekend. I took home a third place award for this film.

This feature story will be submitted to the STN Broadcast Excellence competition which will be announced at the 2025 STN convention. I scripted, filmed, and edited this with a peer over a few months, and it is one of my favorite pieces I have created.

This was the first feature I made and was one of three submitted to the 2024 Spring Nationals. I won a third-place award and found my love for making feature stories through producing this film.

This is one of the first films I was the main editor for, and it was a challenge as I had never made a silent film. This project helped me realize how much you could say without saying anything at all. I won a third-place award for this film.
